Slowly but surely, {cv} and I are making progress on decorating our new place. YAY!
Our current dilemma? Our coffee table, which is where you come in ;)
With a big ivory couch and a strong wooden media center, we are looking at options which can keep the space from feeling too heavy. I keep being pulled in the direction of glass, colorful, and mirrored coffee tables. Many of the living rooms I've pinned to our apartment board feature coffee tables like the ones below. I can't convince myself to pull the trigger, so I'm enlisting your help in this decision!
Which of these coffee tables stands out to you? How did you decide on your coffee table?
I'll see you back here tomorrow for a "back to school" round of Friday's Fancies! xoxo {av}
I love the crate and barrel table. modern but not too modern...
ReplyDeleteI would happily take any of them, but 2 & 4 are my faves :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Crate and Barrel Clairemont. It's so classic and timeless. You won't be over it in a few years!
ReplyDeleteI really love the Wisteria Art Deco! The gold trim really sets it apart in my mind.
ReplyDeleteMy pick is for the Lulu & Georgia Duchess table. I feel like it's middle-ground: mirrored for that added character yet sleek at the same time to maintain a polished yet not overbearing look. I hope you fall in love with the right one, good luck!
ReplyDeleteCheers!

These are so pretty! We have a coffee table now that Tyler bought in his first apartment that is dark brown and I don't love it at all!! With our hardwood floors it is too much!! I love the pop of color in Society Social table and the classic look of the Crate & Barrel table. The mirror and all-glass tables make me super nervous, but maybe thats because our lab could break them at any moment, plus fingerprints and dirt would make me crazy. Can't see which one you choose, you know I love your taste! xo
ReplyDeleteI love the crate and barrel clairemont! I think it would balance out a big couch and a wooden TV stand perfectly. I love colorful coffee tables but it makes it hard to switch out pillows, throws, etc. if you want to change it up
ReplyDeleteI love the red one! But, I am a big fan of mirrored furniture too!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the crate and barrel clairemont. h has a weird thing against round tables... so we'd never get one but i LOVE that one. classic lines, nice mix of metal and glass. a few of the other ones are a little trendy and you might get sick of them in a few years.
ReplyDeleteThe table, top right. I love different textures and fabrics. It would give the illusion of space too.
ReplyDeleteMy choices would be between the C&B Clairemont or the Wisteria Glass! I think they would look great in your room and would stand the test of time.
ReplyDeleteI was just saying last night that I need a new coffee table! I like the colorful one you showcase here. Definitely my style :)
ReplyDeletehmmm i have a green colored on but I am loving these glass one!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm a little biased since I've actually SEEN your place (lucky me!) but I think the Duchess Table would look SOOOOOOO nice. :)
ReplyDeleteso curious to know where {cv}'s head is at for this decision!!
I am actually on the hunt for a new coffee table too! I would love to just go for an ottoman, but the hubs likes to have a hard surface to put drinks and snacks on .... oh the compromises we make for marriage! haha
ReplyDeleteK & I were going through the same thing about a month ago -- we ended up deciding on a distressed wood table with distressed white legs. I LOVE it!! Plus, if it gets dirty, it will just look like it's supposed to be!

Crate and Barrell Clairemont! So adorable!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the art deco one from Wisteria -- if I had 600 buckaroos it would be mine!

I almost picked up the Clairemont when we furnished our living room–such a classic piece!
ReplyDeleteClairemont for sure!
ReplyDeleteThe C&B Clairemont is definitely my fave to accompany the other pieces you described. Great shape, a bottom shelf is a must for me in a coffee table (I've had both and def prefer that space), and will nicely tie in whatever elements you want to bring in.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think a second shelf is super important! It's a great place for magazines, remotes, etc., especially if you want to clear off the top of the table to put appetizers or drinks for a party. And I think a coffee table is the perfect spot to infuse a little color in the room. :)
ReplyDeleteOOOH second row left!
ReplyDeleteClairemont! Our coffee table has two tiers which I love so you can display coffee table books and not have it be on the top surface. We also eat at our coffee table cause we don't have room for a dining table!
