Happy Columbus Day! Many thanks for your love on my second Pinterest post last Thursday! As a little thank you, I have a free printable for you today. I get loads of questions from all of you about how to do technical things on your blogs, so I'm hoping this one helps.
Have you ever pinned something from a blog and wondered how a title magically appeared?

Since I want to help make Pinterest a better place, this printable is a how-to guide for pre-naming your pins in Blogger. {If you don't blog in Blogger, you should still be able to take the HTML guidance and put it to work!} To download, simply click on the image below to save it for future reference :)
{or click here to download it!}
Though I'm still learning as I go, I'd love to do more features like this down the road.
Leave a comment below or email me with all your "techie" questions :)

oh nice!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteThere's actually an easier way! When you click on the image in the editor (not in HTML), a blue box pops up. You can click on Properties and add the title text there, no HTML required.
ReplyDeleteIn Wordpress, there's a place for the title tag when you upload the photo.
Thanks Lisa! I know a lot of people who are trying to learn bits + pieces of HTML, so I thought this might be beneficial :) It's great to know the simple way too! xoxo {av}
DeleteJust FYI - There's an easier way. If you draft your post in "Compose" rather than HTML, just click on the image to highlight it blue. Then click Properties and add Title Text and Alt Text. That's it!! No HTML required. :) Renaming the photos this way can help with SEO too.
ReplyDeletetoo funny! Lisa (just above you!) said the same thing :) I know the easy way--I just wanted to teach folks the HTML way because I'd received a few questions about it! thanks for reiterating the easy way! xoxo {av}
DeleteGreat tip- thanks!!
ReplyDeleteGreat tip! I'm always annoyed when images from my blog just show up titled as the image name so this is really helpful. :)
