Happy Friday from New Hampshire! Later today, {cv}'s cousin will be walking down the aisle, so we're up here for the festivities :) Even though I'm traveling, #FridaysFancies must go on! With football season in full swing, I thought it might be fun to have a week focused on what to wear to the big game.
Since Georgetown is more of a basketball school than a football school, I decided to go with my home team--the Indianapolis Colts! The NFL football divide in our little family is strong: {cv} is a BIG Patriots fan and I always like to remind him of our little rivalry. {Growing up in Indiana, I am a legitimate Colts fan; I don't just do it to annoy his Patriot-loving heart!} If we were attending a Colts tailgate, you would find me wearing something much like this. It may not be very fancy, but for those of you who know me, you will know this is right up my alley!

This Indianapolis Colts T-Shirt would be perfect for an early fall tailgate!
Let's be honest: I've been lusting over this Foley + Corinna Mid City Tote for years. On the upside, if I ever do invest in it, I'll know it will stand the test of time. It would be perfect for a tailgate too!
They may be basic, but these Citizens of Humanity Ava Straight Leg Jeans are far from boring. These beauties would be a fantastic addition to my denim rotation.
How many times have I included a pair of Kate Spade Gumdrop Stud Earrings in my Friday's Fancies? It's almost embarrassing. I think it means one thing: I need a rainbow of them!
To say I want a pair of these Tory Burch Nadine Riding Boots is a gross understatement. I need them! For right now, I have to hold on to that cash for our house. I'll get them one day ;)

Thats one cute football outfit! Happy (almost) weekend lady :)
ReplyDeleteSend New Hampshire my love! I'm a college football fan, if only because the Ohio State Buckeyes are great, & the Browns are, unfortunately, perpetually terrible.

ReplyDeleteCute outfit! I'm a college football fan! :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely college, but I do enjoy the NFL! It is one of the few professional sports I enjoy. I LOVE college basketball, but I despise the NBA. Cute outfit!
ReplyDeleteohmygodthoseTorybootsIdie. I stopped into the Tory Burch store in London (on Bond Street, dur, hehe) and cried over the boots. And the bags. And the knitted jackets. and... basically, I sobbed. with yearning.
ReplyDeletethanks so much for guesting today for me - PERFECT travel ensemble! :)
What a cute football-watching look!! A little bit of friendly competition is always fun. I'm not much of a pro football fan, but when it comes to college rivalry, it's fun competing with friends! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a bigger NFL fan (Steelers!) I don't care for college football.. to me it's not the real deal. lol LOVE today's FF... and your outfit!!!

I'm visiting my college this weekend for alumni weekend- I may even make an appearance at the football game (how fitting!) Have a great time at the wedding!
ReplyDeleteLove this one. I've been lusting over those boots too... They are perfect.
ReplyDeleteGreat jeans. Thanks again for linking up my post for me. I really appreciate it. I actually stayed up to do it and fell asleep with my computer on my lap; I woke up at 12:20 to find that you had done it for me! And for me, I'm more of a college football lover. But I have to say that fantasy football and a pool at work have turned me into a big NFL fan in general. I cheer for the Bucs, but I'm not die-hard about that like I am about Alabama football!
ReplyDeleteI love those boots too. Great theme this week. I'm all linked up!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I'm going to the Colts game on 10/6! My outfit will look a little something like this too (but I'm a Chargers fan, so I may not wear actual Colts gear). I'll be rooting them on though! xx, Allie
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit! I love the boots!
ReplyDeleteI too have been lusting after that bag!!! Fab outfit! Hope you have a wonderful time at the wedding!! XOXO, M.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I've been needing those riding boots too but they're just a liiiiiitle out of my price range. :)
ReplyDeleteLoving it girly! Have a fab weekend!
ReplyDeleteYay, a fellow Colts fan! I thought maybe you were when I saw the Friday Fancies picture for today! Love your outfit!

ReplyDeleteHappy friday
awesome outfit!!! GO COLTS!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've always been envious of people who have blue as their school color--it seemed so much better than the red/maroon I was always stuck with. Have a great weekend!

I need every color of those earrings too! They're just perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove those riding boots!
So glad I stumbled across this linkup and blog! I'm an Indiana native (Evansville, not Indy though) and love the Colts!! Hubby is a Bucs fan so it's not too much of a rivalry but...still a little :) Love the outfit!
ReplyDeleteAh, I'm obsessed with Tory riding boots! I'm all about college football; specifically the big 10!
