Happy Thursday! I don't know if you've discovered it, but Houzz is one of my ultimate home resource websites. Every month, I pull together an ideabook of gorgeous goodies. It may be the Olympics fever in the air, but I find that metallic touches help give some major some va-va-voom. I created this metallic mash-up for the month of August. In my opinion, these eleven pieces would bring plenty of flair...

Don't you just love that little piggie? ;) Since we're in savings mode to build our first home, these ideabooks are getting me in the right mindset for decorating our future pride and joy. Until then, I might just grab a few of those coasters to bring a little flair without breaking the bank or being tough to move. I'll see you all tomorrow for a fun + gingham-filled round of Friday's Fancies!

    great round-up - love metallic accents!

    i have those eneco navy chairs in a barstool height and i LOVE them (and they were a craigslist steal!)

    my cat's food station also happens to be on a metallic gold tray similar to the one you pictured, sourced from pier 1!

    I absolutely LOVE Houzz - their newsletter is one of my favorite "regulars" in my inbox. And I adore these picks! I'm dying for a Society Social bar cart...and those bookends are tooooo adorable!

    I love the addition of metallic in home decor. We have several touches, ranging from a modern gold lamp to a large contemporary gold-leaf mirror above our sofa in our living room. Very fun! Those pig bookends are just too cute!
