Happy Tuesday! If you've been following my blog for a few months now, you know about my current spending freeze. With a few spring trips and weddings on the brain, I realize my best option may very well be Rent The Runway. I've rented more times than I can count, but with the spending freeze, I have barred myself from the site this winter--until this week, that is. Knowing that these dates are on the horizon, I thought it would be good to start plotting out and budgeting for my spring rentals--and to get your opinions on which ones I should pick once April rolls around!
{chandelier earrings | jade necklace | crystal ball earrings | bib necklace | emerald earrings | cuff}
Here's where I need your help: I'll be in Miami at the end of April for a work trip, so I don't want to be too scandalous. In mid-May, we head to the Dominican for a family wedding. Again, this constitutes another reason to keep the necklines up ;) Since the second rentals on the same order are available at a discount, I plan on bringing one or two dresses and one fabulous accessory. {I'm hoping the accessory can work for multiple outfits--even beyond those I'm renting.}
Rent the Runway is most certainly the answer to my lack of wardrobe refreshment this spring. For the money I'll be spending, I'll still look current without breaking the bank. I just need your help in figuring which dresses are the most fabulous :) Many thanks in advance for all your advice!
I really like the pink lace dress in the top row and the one shoulder coral colored dress, also in the top row. Really pretty spring dresses!
ReplyDeleteI love the top row far right one. I love the one shoulder and the color. I also love the bottom row, number two in line. It covers up to the neckline to keep you out of the sun, but still super adorable. The bright colors will definitely fit for both Miami and the Dominican :) Have a wonderful Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteFor the work event and family wedding I love the blue dress on the bottom row and the pink lace on the top row! Both are classy and cute! I also love the lily dress on the bottom row and that would be great for S. Florida! Really all these options are great! Although I wouldnt pick the purple one on the bottom row because the shoulder cut outs may not give off that "covered up" vibe you are looking for!
ReplyDeletei love all the pink dresses! im defiantly going to do RTRW for my shower and bachelorette party! xoxo jillian:: cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteLove both of the one shoulder ones! And i'm OBSESSED with the long one in the second row. Obsessed. How fun would that one be with the turquoise necklace??? um yes pls!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the Lilly Pulitzer and the Watermelon one shoulder. THe accessories are all great
ReplyDeleteLove the scalloped detail of dress #3 and the color and cut of the yellow dress #2. Both are so cute! I just returned from the Dominican a couple weeks ago and loved it; enjoy your trip! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely items that you have shared!!!! xoxo A-
ReplyDeleteCute! I love all of these outfits.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the idea of renting dresses!! My spending has been put on hold for a few months too, so this might be my solution :) I love all the dresses you've picked out but particularly the first two from the last row xx
ReplyDeleteThese are all such amazing choices! And the jewelry is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI really like # 1 and #4 in the middle row- so fun for a spring/summer wedding!
ReplyDeleteSo many fun options! Love the one shoulder dresses and the maxi!! Let us know which one you pick!
ReplyDeleteThose jade earrings are divine!
ReplyDeleteWearing these would make me want to be on a yacht in the Greek islands every single day!
ReplyDeleteI love that whole top row! That site really is such a genius idea! I've never used them but I have friends who have.
ReplyDeleteI love everything Shoshanna touches! Swoon. Rent the Runway is amazing and I can't wait for wedding season so I can get busy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea - I've never thought to try this but will have to remember next time I have a fancy event. (They happen so rarely that I never have the right thing to wear and hate having to buy a dress just for one wear!)
ReplyDeleteLove the lace one and the coral & white strapless one. Both the necklaces are gorgeous too!
These definitely are inspiring me to check out rent the runaway for a wedding that M and I are going to in June! Now I would just need to pick what color scheme I feel like wearing...
ReplyDeleteI love that pink lace shift on the top row, with the scalloped hem-- adorable! I've yet to actually place an order on RTR, but it's one of my favorite sites for browsing. :)
ReplyDeleteOh man, they are all so cute. However, the lace one on the top row is begging to come home to me.
ReplyDeleteall so good! this is such a cool idea!!
ReplyDeleteThe pink lace dress and the Tibi dress are my faves!!!! xoxox Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteTop row 3 and 4, and every accessory, EVERYONE!

Ok I like Top row 4, middle row 2 and bottom row 2. I think bottom row two would be absolutely adorable on you!! (Oh and then save it to wear to our June blogger meet-up!!) - Katy
ReplyDeleteI love that bottom #4 - that would be my wedding pick, and then for Miami I'd choose bottom #2 :)

ReplyDeleteooo I love the yellow and coral ones! Also, have you heard of New for the Night? It's similar to Rent the Runway if you feel like browsing!
