pop of purple.

Happy Tuesday! For this week's Friday's Fancies, I wanted to explore color and prompted the lovely ladies you join me to do the same. I have long been a fan of cobalt as my pinterest board can attest, but I have been looking to add a few hues to my repertoire. In prepping for my post on Friday, I may have gone a little overboard in my affection for purple. You'll reap the benefits today ;)

Don't get me wrong: I don't want to look like Barney and be full-on purple. In my book, accessories are the best way to incorporate a color without overdoing. I would love include a few pops of purple to bring this hue into my wardrobe--without breaking the bank! Some of these goodies are not budget friendly, but a few of them are. You better believe I'll be trying to work this happy hue into my every day in 2012.

    I really need to creep a color into my wardrobe on the snappy. I guess if I had to answer the question I'd say beige? haha. I'm trying! I just can't budget properly. I guess I should have A put me on one so I can decorate and shop. However, when I was younger my favorite color was purple and that was the color the royals wore in Rome. So yes, purple = awesome!

    I've really been feeling teal lately, but I'm on a minor shopping hiatus right now, so I'll have to hold off buying any bright pops of color until springtime. But man, purple sure is gorgeous too!
