a touch of tortoise.

This fall, animal prints are everywhere! I've added a few touches of leopard to my closet this fall, 
but another "pattern" is really pulling at my heart strings these days...and that's tortoise shell. 
Here are a few of the pieces which have been in my dreams as of late...

My only tortoise touches have been a few classic hair clips from J.Crew and a chain necklace 
I found at the J.Crew Factory Store. I really do think a tortoise shell watch {of Nixon or 
Michael Kors variety} will be on my holiday wishlist in just a few months...sigh.
My favorite part about the tortoise trend? It will work now--and later!

    i love those flats!tortoise is the best. i've had my eye on a pair of tortoise sunglasses for a bit but i think i'd rather decorate the place instead. sometimes being a grown up just isn't fun at all.

    I was so excited when I saw the title of this post as I LOVE tortoise. I've had tortoise shell glasses the past year or two and by far they've been my favorite pair {and I've had a lloott of glasses over the years}.

    Love the tortise bracelet. I agree that is it such a fun "print" and adds a great finishing touch to an outfit. My tortie sunlgasses recently went to the great big beach in the sky, so now I am on the lookout for new ones!!

    Well, at the moment I'm wearing my tortoise glasses, and I did have a tortoise bangle which I've worn everyday for 12 years until it broke last weekend :-( I think a replacement tortoise watch will make me feel better xo
