I can't believe it's Monday already, but I guess it's time to admit it's here! {cv} and I enjoyed a weekend in the Ocean State, soaking up some much-needed time together and having a little fun along the way! Here are a few peeks at the weekend that I captured via Instagram. It's convenient because I can then link up this post with Ashley at a {little} dash of ash for her Instagram Mondays ;)
{cv} and I celebrated a warm autumn night in Providence on Saturday. We had dinner at Gracie's, which is easily our favorite restaurant in Rhode Island. {I mentioned it in my guest post here!} Each and every course comes with a little surprise in between--and they didn't disappoint this week. I had my favorite rigatoni and was quite a happy girl. And their menus? They contain that sweet reminder in the paragraph above. {I think I snap a picture of every time we visit...} It doesn't hurt that Amazing Grace is also my favorite hymn.
From there, {cv} and I then headed to see Rock of Ages at the Providence Performing Arts Center, which turned out to be one of the more hilarious musicals I've ever seen {and I've seen a few!}. Complete with '80s music and mullets, we just couldn't stop laughing. It was a fantastic start to our musical season :)

I sported the same heels I rocked on Saturday night on Sunday because they were just too much fun. We had a bit of a marathon day, but one of the highlights was {cv}'s long awaited trip to Guitar Center, where he finally picked up a new toy. With as hard as he works, he certainly deserves it! I also love the sound of an acoustic guitar, so you won't hear me arguing ;)
We also stumbled across the Columbus Day Festival on Federal Hill in Providence, celebrating the Italian who helped find America. There were an overwhelming number of Italian sausage, pizza, and lasagna stands and lots of red, white, and green. I couldn't get enough of the pretty streamers above Atwells Avenue. {see below!} You better believe we'll be back next year...

So, with that, I wish you a very...
