Happy Monday! I'm linking up with Ashley at a {little} dash of ash today, so here is my weekend recap via Instagram :) After a crazy week of work last week, I made my way to Boston to see my bff {hp}, who was in town from Indianapolis. The best part? We got to toast to a certain little mister who made his way into the world a few weeks early...more after we get clearance from this precious man's parents!
Being on the road makes me relish some cuddle time with my boys, Gus, Mr. Pinky, and {cv}, of course. I got some quality time with all three of them, which was exactly what I needed after last week. The only other real adventure of the weekend was to the hair salon--for my first haircut since early April. I don't think my hair had been this long since third grade! Not only was I happy to shed some of the length, I enjoyed getting the chance to try out a few DevaCurl products which I've heard so much about from Marissa. I loved the results, even I don't look so happy in the picture ;) any tips for me on the DevaCurl line? I haven't bought in totally yet, but I want to know what you think!
Whatever you did, I hope you had a little time to recover for a new week :) We didn't go out for Halloween this year, but I always love seeing the barrage of photos on facebook from everyone's escapades!
If you celebrate Halloween, I hope you enjoy it! I can't believe tomorrow is the first day of November. Where is this year going?! See you back here tomorrow morning with BIG news :) {and no, I'm not pregnant...I always have to preface that when I reference something like this!} Until then...
P.S. Have you registered for blogger blitz yet?!

A bigger than BIG announcement? I'm intrigued. Jealous of your low-key weekend. I'm still recovering from Saturday night's escapade.
ReplyDeleteawww your cuddle buddies are so cute! I hope they have a Happy Halloween!!!
ReplyDeletedefinitely took it easy this weekend. but... really that's no different than every other weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove your hair!
ReplyDeletehmm…ive never heard of this product, but i'm now going to check it out. i have curly/wavy hair and sometimes it just doesnt fix well. and if i straighten i have to use a straightener and was recently told "gurrrl don't chew know straightener are out" (foreign male hairstylist) haha
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks gorgeous! Can't wait to hear your announcement!

It was a hard weekend! We were up ridiculously late on Friday because our hometown baseball team won the World Series! Go Cards! Talk about a massive celebration! And then we threw our annual Halloween costume party on Saturday. I'm SO exhausted today! I need a week to recover!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the curls! Looks fab my dear :)
ReplyDeleteI did a little bit of both. I partied way too hard on Friday and then Saturday I just made apple pies. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful weekend-and your hair looks absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh I've had no time to read blogs. So glad to finally catch up on yours! I love your haircut. Very cute. I went fairly hard this weekend I guess...but not for Halloween. It was a good friend's wedding in Naples at the Ritz, and it was a blast.
ReplyDeleteI've read through your last week's post too, and I'm thinking about doing the Nashville blogger blitz. I'm from Chattanooga and will be there for Christmas, so it will just depend on if I'm still in Chattanooga as to whether I'm able to come. Do you think there will be a meetup afterwards or before or other activities or is it just 5-7?
Also, can't wait for your big time announcement!
Love the haircut, you look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove your hair! I used Deva Curl for a while, and I still use Set it Free to smooth out frizz. I really liked it, but there was definitely an adjustment period — I was fighting greasy hair for at least a few weeks as my scalp adjusted. It worked much better for me when I switched from No-Poo to Low-Poo
ReplyDeleteAh, I think it looks great! I was kind of busy this weekend, haha, but not "going hard", so to speak.
ReplyDeleteYou hair looks beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteYou look GORG! Such great hair!I can hardly wait for the announcement...of blogger meet-up!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
You're hair looks really pretty! I have to admit I didn't like devacurl for my hair. It seemed to weigh it down and feel oily. I'm thinking about trying ouidad eventually and see what that's like.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear some tips about Deva Curl. I have curls, too, so I'm always looking for a new product that works!
ReplyDeleteCan't WAIT to hear the news!
I like your new hair cut - looks fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had an amazing weekend! Love your little "boys", they´re so cute :)
ReplyDeleteCan´t wait for the big announcement :)
