He went to IU for a degree in business and started his career in sales. One day, while pursuing
another of his passions {waterskiing!}, he bought a ski boat from a man in my hometown who owned a small sign shop. My dad's interest was immediately peaked. Shortly thereafter, he quit his sales job and eventually bought this gentleman's business. It's always been amazing to me the work he produces without any sort of art degree. He's a natural!
Both of my parents love photography, which certainly contributes to my love of the subject.
In our family, one thing which always deserves a photograph? a memorable sign!
For the first post on my New Orleans trip, I thought it was only appropriate to share my snapshots of signs in the Big Easy. Signs are the gateway to any establishment or place, so it seemed like a logical way to introduce my trip :)
As Mardi Gras edges closer {it's Tuesday!}, I thought this would be the perfect stretch to share all my NOLA photos...get ready for another photo-heavy {and fun!} post tomorrow!
Squeeze each and every last minute out of this Sunday! I know I'm trying :)
Until tomorrow! xoxo {av}
