swappety swaps.

In the past few weeks, I decided to join in a few little blog swaps...
and I'm SO glad I did :)

I jumped up at the chance to link up with Caroline from
{good times never seem sew good...} for a little Valentine's Day
Card Exchange. I love snail mail, so this was a fun one for me!

I received this beautiful handmade card from Ashley at The Carter Casa
I loved the William Blake quote she included inside :)

Kody, from It's Kody with a K, received a little piece of
Valentine cheer from little ol' me!

I also joined in another swap with MJ at Teaching in Heels...

My package from this swap made its way all the way from HUNGARY {!!} from
the lovely Courtney from Chaos Theory...

Our task was to spend $15 to $20 on accessories--and this is what she picked out for me:

Chocolate may not be an accessory, but it was certainly a fabulous surprise. I *love* Milka chocolate from my days spent studying abroad! She totally got the vintage vibe that I love and I can't wait to make use of these goodies!

Have you done any swaps like this? If so, have you had any fun takeaways?

Thank you so much to the lovely hosts, Caroline and MJ...
and a big thank you to Ashley and Courtney for my lovely goodies too!
Can't wait to join in more swaps soon :)
xoxo {av}

  12. I used to do a "my favorite things" swap but the girl who ran it for several years stopped it last year. It was so sad, because I loved meeting new people. In fact one of my swap partners and I are still friends! If you see some good ones mention it here! I love to get mail :)
